Training
Some of you may be aware that Jurat has made significant changes within the area
of training and the development of consultation skills. Wew have now improved our
training material including the introduction of training "scenarios" designed to
highlight important elements of Jurat.
Jurat’s Technical Director, Catherine Goldwater , has now moved permanently
to Canada and is overseeing all training in Canada.
Quality assurance has been one of the key focus areas for this area of Jurat’s business.
It has been our experience that in order to deliver efficient and effective training,
every candidate should have an understanding of some underlying concepts in relation
to Community Consultation and Stakeholder Engagement.
With this in mind, before Jurat training is undertaken, we find it beneficial to
conduct a needs analysis, which includes ascertaining candidates learning styles,
and levels of understanding in relation to consultation. This approach is designed
to ensure that our training is aimed at the appropriate ability level of all training
participants. We will also be able to make recommendations to you as to the most
suitable types of training, and to integrate more focused learning approaches into
our training material.
