Stakeholder Engagement 101 - Engagement Skills for Non-Engagement Professionals
- How often is engagement with your stakeholders happening with people from your organization who are not part of your formal Engagement Team?
- Are people in your organization being asked to add engagement/consultation to their responsibilities?
- What are the risks to your company if these people don't have a foundation in engagement skills?
Given the increasing need to include substantial consultation in the total project life cycle; the increased regulatory requirements;
and the increased tactical and strategic approach by some stakeholders - it has become increasingly critical to get the engagement process right.
This practical, one-day, interactive workshop will leave students with the tools they need to successfully:
- Understand the process and value of engagement
- Plan engagement activity effectively
- Anticipate potential impacts both to your stakeholders and to your organization
- Identify appropriate techniques for specific circumstances
- Document and evaluate outcomes
- Communicate outcomes to your stakeholders
Facilitator: Eric Brooke
Schedule: 8:30am to 4:30pm, with lunch provided.
